 Ticket sales for the 2011 Quilt Raffle have been brisk. We are already one-third of the way to our goal of $1,000 in ticket sales. Don’t miss out on your chance to win this beautiful quilt made by the Plumsteadville Grange Quilters. JanuaryPennsylvania Farm Show January 10th through 11th, Harrisburg PAPennsylvania is proud to host the largest indoor agricultural exposition in the country, with nearly 6,000 animals, 10,000 competitive exhibits and 290 commercial exhibits. Be one of 400,000 visitors to join us for the 96th Pennsylvania Farm Show and learn about the good work being done on the farm, in the field, in the home and in the classroom. Grange Meeting Wednesday, January 11th at 7:30 p.m. Presentation by Team Capital Bank, to give an overview of the bank and the approved new loan. All members are encouraged to attend this important meeting. Cookie Baking, MLK Day of Service Monday, January 16th at 10:30 a.m. Grangers, 4-H members and friends will gather in the Grange kitchen to bake cookies to be sent to Mexico to give workers at the Discovery Project a “taste of home” during their volunteer service. Help is needed beginning at 10:30 a.m., please bring cookie dough and baking sheets. Contact Annette Crooke for more information. Franklin Horse Co. Dinner Saturday, January 28th Help needed to prepare, serve, and clean up. Work begins at 10 a.m. for service at 6 p.m., contact Annette Crooke to volunteer.
